The George Washington University will again participate in #GivingTuesday, the international day of giving for nonprofit organizations.
Howard Tischler, MS ’80, founder and CEO of Eversafe, created the Harriet Green Tischler scholarship, an endowment named in honor of his mother.
“The biggest thing for me is to lessen the burden on my family. Any way I can contribute to my expenses, I’ll take that shot.”
For the remainder of the campaign, the focus will be generating philanthropic support for GW students.
Walid Wahab, MBA ’88, and his wife, Susie, BBA ’89, give back to the university by hosting events, interviewing prospective students, and lending advice and expertise by serving on boards.
