During this spring’s annual Power & Promise event, two scholarship recipients met their donors for the first time. We captured these rare first moments on video during the event.
Sara Pool, CCAS ’16, a speech pathologist, met Janet Lambert, a former speech pathologist, who, along with her late husband Eugene Lambert, B.A. ’57 started the Lambert Graduate Stipend in Arts and Sciences, which provides funding for graduate students who are in danger of dropping out due to lack of funding.
Victoria Hevener, BSN ’16 met donors Dr. Ellen Dawson, Professor Emeritus and Howard W. Dawson, U.S. Navy (Ret.), who provided a scholarship that supports distance students whose goal is to work to provide access to healthcare in their communities.
